There is no one true god
all gods are true
at least to the hands that reach for them in the dark.
I write a sentence,
it feels too bold.
I soften it.
Then i write another
it burns the same.
Maybe belief is not about truth
but about survival,
about who you blame
when lightning finds your roof.
Every god is a story we tell to survive the dark,
every god is a flame we light to see ourselves.
To say one is false is to say
the sun does not shine
because the moon is silver too.
And if all gods are true,
then our questions are holy,
our doubts are devotion,
our fear is worship
Every prayer is a hymn,
every cry a sacrament and
every soul — a temple of infinite truths.
