PEPPER COAST MAG — SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submissions Window: 26 September — 15 November
Issue Seven
Guest Editors
• Poetry: Jedidiah Mugarura
• Prose: Beulah Nimene
Pepper Coast Mag publishes two issues annually (June and December).
We accept general poetry and prose submissions between these publication cycles.
We also administer:
• The Abu Sherif Poetry Fellowship (for Liberian writers)
• The Kofi Awoonor Poetry Prize
Pepper Coast Mag welcomes submissions from Africans, people of color, diasporic writers, descendants, and affiliated communities.
We impose no thematic, stylistic, or formal limitations—provided the work is original, compelling, and of high literary quality. Writers retain full copyright and publication rights at all times.
At this stage, we are unable to offer honoraria; however, compensation remains a core aspiration of our long-term development plan.
